34. Johan Neeskens
33. Berti Vogts
32. Raúl González
31. Luís Figo
30. Oliver Kahn
At No30 with 58,151 votes was the FC Bayern München goalkeeper. He originally made his name with Karlsruher SC before joining Bayern in 1994. He helped them win the treble of UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal in 2001 and the following year he was voted best player at the 2002 FIFA World Cup after leading his country to the final against Brazil.
29. Sepp Maier
A Bayern legend with 473 league appearances for the Bavarians, Sepp Maier was 29th in the poll with 62,375 votes. The pinnacle of his career came in 1974 when he won his first European Champion Clubs' Cup with Bayern and, weeks later, the FIFA World Cup with the Federal Republic of Germany. Other achievements include the UEFA European Championship in 1972 and two further European Cups.
28. Gheorghe Hagi
Known as the 'Maradona of the Carpathians' and considered the best Romanian player ever, Gheorghe Hagi gained 62,383 votes. The midfield creator won 125 caps for his country, 65 of them as captain, and scored 35 goals. He won three successive league and cup doubles with FC Steaua Bucuresti before going on to play in Italy, Spain and Turkey, where he lifted 2000 UEFA Cup with Galatasaray SK.
27. Peter Schmeichel
At No 27 with 66,463 votes was the former Danish No1, who was a fixture in the Manchester United FC side for almost a decade. The giant goalkeeper was the foundation of his country’s surprise success at EURO '92 and helped United to much domestic success, before his career with the club climaxed with victory in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final.
26. Ronald Koeman
An accomplished sweeper, the 1988 UEFA European Championship winner amassed 66,661 votes to occupy 26th position in the poll. The same year that the Dutch triumphed in West Germany, Koeman was part of the PSV Eindhoven side that captured both the domestic double and the European Champion Clubs' Cup. He moved to FC Barcelona the following season and there won four league titles as well as scoring the only goal of the 1992 European Cup final - still Barcelona's only success in the competition.
25. Michael Laudrup
Son of Finn Laudrup, a former Danish international, and elder brother of Brian, 67,484 votes meant that Michael was placed 25th in the poll. He came to widespread attention with a virtuso performance in Denmark's 6-1 win against Uruguay at the 1986 FIFA World Cup finals, but missed his country's European Championship triumph six years later after a disagreement with coach Richard Møller Nielsen. Laudrup enjoyed a glittering club career, winning the European/South American Cup with Juventus FC, the European Cup with FC Barcelona and a total of five Spanish league titles. He also won the Dutch league and cup double with AFC Ajax and now coaches Brøndby IF.
24. Roberto Baggio
Baggio, who collected 68,239 votes, made his name with AC Fiorentina where his 17 goals in the 1989/90 season earned him a high-profile move to Juventus FC - as well as a place in Italy's World Cup squad. He would play in three World Cups in total, his most memorable performances coming at USA 94 where 'The Divine Ponytail' scored five goals as Italy reached the final. He counts both AC Milan and FC Internazionale among his former clubs and now, at 37, is still playing top-flight football with Brescia Calcio where he stands just one goal shy of 200 in Serie A.
23. Bobby Moore
Next was Moore, one of the world's best central defenders in the mid-1960s, who led England to the World Cup in 1966 and West Ham United FC to victories in both the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. He was still an imperious figure at the 1970 World Cup and won 108 caps in all for his country and played 544 league games for West Ham before moving on to Fulham FC and then playing in the United States. Moore, who died of cancer in 1993, received 70,884 votes.
22. David Beckham
Another son of London, Beckham followed Moore in the poll with 71,299 votes. Beckham shot to prominence, quite literally, in England with a famous goal scored from the halfway line against Wimbledon FC. A product of Manchester United FC's youth ranks, he helped the Old Trafford club win the treble of Premiership, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League in 1999. He captained England at the 2002 World Cup and left United for Real Madrid CF last summer having won six league championships.
21. Frank Rijkaard
Rijkaard was a serial winner with AC Milan where he formed part of the Rossoneri's fabled trio of Dutchmen, together with Ruud Gullit and Marco van Basten. A midfield player who could also operate in defence, he won two European Champion Clubs' Cups with Milan, in 1989 and '94, as well as three Serie A titles. He subsequently returned to his first club AFC Ajax and helped them defeat Milan to lift the European Cup in 1995. A UEFA European Championship winner with the Netherlands in 1988, the present-day coach of FC Barcelona earned 71,333 votes.
20. Kevin Keegan
Keegan, now manager of Manchester City FC, was arguably the biggest name in European football in the late 1970s when he was voted European Footballer of the Year in both 1978 and '79. Nicknamed 'Mighty Mouse', Keegan made his name with Liverpool FC where he formed a lethal strike partnership with John Toshack. He claimed three league titles and two UEFA Cups at Anfield but left after helping the Reds win the 1977 European Cup, moving to Germany to join Hamburger SV. He won a league and cup double with Hamburg as well as reaching the European Cup final in 1980. A former captain and coach of England, Keegan collected 78,840 votes.
19. George Best
Best was the darling of English football in the 1960s, scoring one of the goals in the 4-1 victory over SL Benfica that made Manchester United the first English side to lift the European Cup in 1968. Later that year he beat United team-mate Bobby Charlton to the honour of European Footballer of the Year. Blessed with exquisite talent, the Northern Irishman also contributed to two league championship successes at United while his good looks and flamboyant lifestyle earned him pop-star status in the United Kingdom. Best received 79,036 votes.
18. Gerd Müller
'Der Bomber' scored a remarkable 68 goals in 62 international appearances, none more important than the winner in the 1974 World Cup final against the Netherlands. He was also on target in the 1972 UEFA European Championship final victory over the Soviet Union. At club level, he lifted the European Cup in three successive seasons with Bayern in the 1970s, scoring in the finals against Club Atlético de Madrid and Leeds United AFC. Müller, the 1970 European Footballer of the Year, collected 82,668 votes.
17. Franco Baresi
Ahead of Müller with 83,800 votes was Baresi, one of the finest sweepers the football world has seen. Baresi's long career was spent entirely with AC Milan, where he played from 1977 until his retirement 20 years later. He claimed two European Cups with Milan, in 1989 and 1990, as well as five league titles. A non-playing member of Italy's 1982 World Cup-winning squad, he played a prominent role as the Azzurri reached the 1994 final.
16. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
An attacker who scored 45 goals in 95 international appearances, Rummenigge captained the Federal Republic of Germany to European Championship success in 1980. He was also a European champion at club level, winning the European Cup with Bayern in 1976. Later played for FC Internazionale in Italy and collected the European Footballer of the Year award in both 1980 and 1981. Rummenigge received 86,649 votes.
15. Lothar Matthäus
German football's most-capped player with 150 international appearances, the high point of Matthäus's career came in 1990 when he led his country to victory at Italia 90, scoring four goals along the way. That was the third of five World Cup finals for Matthäus, who was voted European Footballer of the Year in 1990. Other highlights included winning league titles with FC Bayern München and FC Internazionale, and lifting the UEFA Cup with both those clubs. Now coaching Hungary's national team, he received 86,798 votes.
14. Sir Bobby Charlton
Charlton was one of the key figures of England's World Cup success in 1966, scoring both goals in the semi-final victory over Portugal. His country's record marksman with 49 goals from 106 appearances, his name is synonymous with the great Manchester United FC teams of the 1950s and 1960s. As one of the 'Busby babes', he claimed two titles with United before the Munich air disaster of 1958; a decade later he was still at Old Trafford when United followed up their league championship of 1967 by capturing the European Champion Clubs' Cup, Charlton striking twice in the final win against SL Benfica. Voted European Footballer of the Year in 1966, he earned 89,921 votes.
13. Ruud Gullit
The 1987 European Footballer of the Year, Gullit was arguably the perfect product of a country that gave us total football. As effective sweeping in defence as he was scoring goals in attack, Gullit captained his country to victory in the 1988 UEFA European Championship when he headed the first Dutch goal in the final against the Soviet Union. With Milan he won the European Cup in 1989 and '90, scoring Milan's first and third goals in the first of those two matches against FC Steaua Bucuresti. Soon to return to his old club Feyenoord as coach, his arrival at Chelsea FC - where he won the 1997 FA Cup as manager - helped the London side become a force in English football. Gullit collected 91,001 votes.
12. Paolo Rossi
Rossi knew the best and worst that football can offer. He went from villain to hero in 1982 when just months after the end of a suspension for his alleged role in a match-fixing scandal, he struck six goals as Italy won the World Cup in Spain, including the first in the 3-1 final victory over the Federal Republic of Germany. Rossi, whose World Cup exploits earned him the European Footballer of the Year award, later won both the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the European Cup with Juventus FC. He received 91,194 votes.
11. Ferenc Puskás
Puskás, the 'galloping major', was captain of the Hungary team who dominated the early 1950s, winning Olympic gold in 1952 and reaching the 1954 World Cup final where they lost to West Germany. Puskás scored 84 goals in 85 games for Hungary before quitting his country after the 1956 revolution. He joined Real Madrid where he won the European Cup in 1959/60, scoring four times in the 7-3 final defeat of Eintracht Frankfurt, and went on to play for Spain. Puskás collected 94,361 votes.
10. Paolo Maldini
Maldini is a one-club man who, at 35, is still playing a key role at the heart of the Milan defence. Son of a former Milan captain, Cesare, he made his debut for the Rossoneri in 1985 and followed in his father's footsteps by winning the European Cup in 1989, 1990, 1994 and 2003, when he lifted the trophy as captain. He has also enjoyed numerous domestic successes with Milan and was a defensive cornerstone as Italy reached the finals of the 1994 FIFA World Cup and UEFA EURO 2000™, making 126 international appearances in total. His 95,497 votes made him the first player in the top ten.
9. Michel Platini
Platini - who received 99,380 votes - was the No10 in the great France team of the 1980s who reached the semi-finals of the 1982 and 1986 FIFA World Cups and, in between, won the European Championship on home soil in 1984. This success was arguably Platini's finest hour: he scored nine goals in five games, a remarkable feat but quite fitting for a player who became his country's record scorer with 41 goals from 72 matches. For three years running from 1983-85, he was European Footballer of the Year and also Serie A's top scorer, and with Juventus FC he won both the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the European Champion Clubs' Cup.
8. Lev Yashin
Yashin, football's original man in black, was the goalkeeping hero of FC Dinamo Moskva and the Soviet Union in the 1950s and 60s. Yashin won gold at the Melbourne Olympics in 1956 and four years later helped his country to victory in the inaugural European Championship, where they defeated Yugoslavia in the final. Voted European Footballer of the Year in 1963, he earned 78 caps while, at club level, he won five league titles and three cups with Dinamo. He collected 101,862 votes.
7. Eusébio
Born in Mozambique, football took Eusébio to Portugal when he joined SL Benfica as a 19-year-old in 1961. Within 12 months he had scored twice in the European Cup final as the Eagles beat Real Madrid CF 5-3. The 'Black Pearl' would appear on the losing side in three further finals but enjoyed his greatest moment in 1966 when he scored nine goals as Portugal finished third in that year's World Cup in England. He scored 41 goals in 64 appearances for his country while in 14 seasons with Benfica, he won the league eleven times and the cup five times. The 1965 European Footballer of the Year, he earned 103,937 votes.
6. Marcel 'Marco' van Basten
Van Basten's striking ability was obvious as early as the 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship. Already discovered by AFC Ajax, he went on to score 128 league goals for the Amsterdam club before joining AC Milan for €2.15m in 1987. He signed off with Ajax's winner in their 1987 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final victory against 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig. Milan helped him gain even more glory as he starred in their European Cup triumphs in 1989 and 1990, as well as winning individual honours such as the FIFA World Player crown. Perhaps Van Basten's finest hour came at the 1988 European Championship, volleying one of the greatest international goals against the Soviet Union as the Dutch claimed a 2-0 final victory.
5. Dino Zoff
Zoff retired from international football aged 40 in the most memorable circumstances imaginable - after earning a then-record 112th cap in the 3-1 defeat of the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1982 World Cup final. As captain he became the second Juventus FC goalkeeper to be presented with the World Cup trophy after Gianpiero Combi in 1934. Zoff's move from AC Mantova to SSC Napoli early in his career provided the springboard to help Italy win the 1968 European Championship. In 1973/74, having joined Juventus, Zoff set a record of 1,143 international minutes without conceding a goal, and went on to win Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Cup Winners' Cup with the Turin club.
4. Alfredo Di Stéfano Laulhé
Di Stéfano led Madrid to victory with at least one goal in each of the first five European Cup finals. His phenomenal stamina also enabled him to command the entire pitch. Born in Buenos Aires, Di Stéfano started out with his hometown team, CA River Plate. After a season with CA Huracán, he returned to River to win the league while also lifting the Copa América with Argentina. He then moved to CD Los Millonarios in Colombia where he spent almost four seasons, scoring 89 goals in 102 matches. Di Stéfano won three Colombian championships in the process before moving to Europe to join Madrid in 1952. Success remained close at hand as he won eight league championships and one Spanish cup alongside a hitherto unequalled record in European competition with Madrid. He also went on to play 31 times for Spain, scoring 23 goals in the process. Named 1957 and 1959 European Footballer of the Year.
3. Johan Cruyff
Cruyff - who received 119,332 votes from uefa.com users - was the captain and star player of the Netherlands team that lost the 1974 FIFA World Cup final to West Germany yet won the hearts of a generation with their 'total football'. He was also an inspiration to AFC Ajax, the club with whom he won the European Champion Clubs' Cup three years running from 1971-73. A centre-forward as unorthodox for his style as he was for his choice of No14 shirt, he scored twice in the 1972 final defeat of FC Internazionale. Cruyff was European Footballer of the Year three times, the last following his debut season with FC Barcelona that culminated in a Spanish championship triumph. He earned 48 international caps, scoring 33 goals.
2. Franz Beckenbauer
Beckenbauer, football's original attacking sweeper, was a talismanic figure for West Germany and FC Bayern München in the late 1960s and 1970s. He captained his country to World Cup success on home soil in 1974, having been a European champion two years before, and became the first German to reach 100 caps. However, his Bayern career was laden with still more silver. The highlight was the club's hat-trick of European Cups between 1974 and 1976. By the time he left for New York Cosmos, he had claimed five Bundesliga titles and winner's medals in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and European/South American Cup. European Footballer of the Year in 1972 and 1976, he scooped 122,569 votes.
1. Zinedine Zidane
The Marseille-born playmaker made his name with FC Girondins de Bordeaux, being voted France's Young Player of the Year in 1992 before appearing in the 1996 UEFA Cup final. Juventus FC duly signed him, and he helped the Italian club win two league titles and reach two UEFA Champions League finals. However, his greatest moments were with France and Real Madrid - the club he joined for €76m in 2001. For his country, he scored two goals in the climactic 3-0 victory against Brazil at the 1998 World Cup. His stellar performance prompted his award as European Footballer of the Year, and was followed by more glory at UEFA EURO 2000™. For Madrid, he delivered the winning goal against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the 2002 Champions League final. Zidane polled 123,582 votes.Aslında bütün oyuncular için açıklama var ama 20000 karakter sınırı olduğu için 30'dan sonrakileri çıkarttım.Tam yazı için:

Canlı gözlerle izlediğim, kendimce en büyük, en iyi 8 futbocu ;
