PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Afellay has been nominated for the Dutch Muslim of the Year award. A Dutch-born son of Moroccan parents, the 19-year-old first came to public attention this spring with a string of fine performances for PSV Eindhoven despite his young age. A total of 24 people were nominated for the award -- including Dutch-Moroccan rapper Ali B, Amsterdam alderman Ahmed Aboutaleb and Moroccan comedian Najib Amhali.
