Aggy and Olembe Off - We told you last week



We told you last week that Wigan Athletic pair Julius Aghahowa and Salomon Olembe are heading off to Turkey this summer and not for a holiday.

Turkish Premier Super League side Kayserispor have negotiated to take the Africans off Latics hands once the season finishes.

Neither Aghahowa nor Olembe have exactly set the club on fire since joining the Latics and indeed in the case of Aghahowa with his reputation he has been a major disappointment.

Confirming the deal that Vital Wigan exclusively told the sporting world Latics boss Steve Bruce said:

'It hasn't worked out for these two here - it's a shame but that's football. We hope they have a better time in Turkey.

I watch Julius every day on the training ground and that reminds me what a very good finisher he is, but in the games it hasn't quite worked out.

Geçen hafta size Julius Aghahowa ve Salomon Olembe’nin önümüzdeki yaz Türkiyeye gideceklerini ama tatile gitmeyeceklerini söylemistik.

Süper lig takimi sezon sonu için 2 oyuncu ile anlasmis bulunmakta.

Aghahowa olsun Olembe olsun Wigan’da bekleneni maalesef vermediler. Özellikle Aghahowa gibi taninmis bir oyuncu hayal kirikligi yaratti.

Wigan teknik direktörü Steve Bruce bu transferler hakkinda sunlari söyledi:
Her 2 oyuncu için deyim yerindeyse burada olmadi demek olazim. Yazik oldu ama futbol bu. Türkiyede basarili olmalarini diliyoruz.

Aghahowa'yi her antremanda dikkatlice izliyorum ve ne kadar iyi bir bitirici oldugunu goruyorum ama bu bitiricilik maçlara yansimadi simdiye kadar.
