I would like to inform everyone associated and interested in my career at Ankaragucu that i have taken the decision to terminate my contract with immediate effect. I thank my teammates for their kindness and extend the biggest thank you to the supporters who believed in me and showed faith through difficult times..

The club has gone through an immense deal of scrutiny during last season for many reasons and i understand that financial difficulties have made it difficult for them to fulfill all of their obligations. My love for Turkey has not been affected and i am eager to be a part of an improving Turkcel Super lig producing performances that will aid , highlight and showcase the potential we have here.

Representing the Super Lig as an honest and senior professional has been an honour during last season and it can continue to be for future seasons.

I have done everything possible to remain at this club, i have asked many people for help and i am satisfied that my decision is the right one.

I will release statements through my Turkish Lawyer Cem papila, who i have instructed to handle these affairs while i take time to consider my future during the seasonal holiday.
